It’s an opportunity for us to sit down together - either online or in person - and gain a clear understanding of your vision, your property, and your lifestyle. During this meeting, we take the time to listen carefully, ask the right questions, and explore the full potential of your space.
Whether you’re planning to renovate a heritage machiya in Kyoto, a modern apartment in Tokyo, or a lakeside home in Shiga, this consultation allows us to understand the scope of your project, your design goals, and the level of detail you’d like to achieve. We’ll also discuss budget expectations, timelines, and how our interior architecture and project management services can best support you.
After the meeting, our team will prepare a comprehensive return brief, summarising our understanding of your project, a tailored design fee proposal, and a preliminary schedule outlining the next steps. This ensures you have full clarity on what to expect before any work begins.
The consultation fee is fully credited towards your design package should you choose to move forward with Chalk Lane, making it a valuable and practical first step in your renovation journey.
