This family bathroom renovation in Kew, Melbourne reconfigured a compact layout into a cohesive, high-function wet area suited to everyday family use. The project combined shower and bath into a unified zone to improve circulation, supervision and spatial efficiency within the existing footprint.

As part of a considered residential renovation in Melbourne’s south-east, the scope included plumbing reconfiguration, waterproofing upgrades and custom vanity joinery integrated into the shower zone. Large-format stone tiles were introduced to visually expand the space, while crushed marble wall render replaced conventional tiling to deliver a seamless, low-maintenance surface. Storage was incorporated within architectural lines to eliminate visual clutter without increasing bulk.

The result is a contemporary bathroom renovation in Kew that improves functionality, durability and spatial clarity while maintaining a restrained, high-end material palette suited to long-term residential use.
